Animals

These chocolate cookies were for a little girl's birthday. To avoid any sugar overload on the birthday girl, it was politely requested to just be outlined.

The cookies were packed in an Ikea cookie tin. Nice and airtight.

Sugar lemon 6cm pteranodon and gingerbread 6cm stegosaurus for a wonderful boy's birthday party. His mom didn't want the cookies flooded so I just outlined them.

I took the picts on my son's dinosaur book. Pretty neat, eh? The cookies are RM2.40 each packed in a clear bag tied with wool.

Aqiqah cookies

200 gingerbread and 200 sugar lemon prams. By far my largest single order for a much awaited beautiful girl. Each pram is 7cm and is RM3.00 each (without customized name). The cookies were individually packed and sealed in a clear bag with a matching satin ribbon. I was so excited to get them done that I totally forgot to take picts of the packed cookies. Jasmin (the baby's mom) however was nice enough to email me the picts. I'll post them soon (I hope).

Message on a Cookie

Sometimes, if you're at a loss for words, why not send your message on a cookie?

I made these sugar cookies to put in my son's birthday goodie bags for his classmates. I don't think they looked at it tho'.

The larger the cookie, the more words you can put on it. For cookies with just wordings and no additional decorations, the prices are as below (contact me for other sizes):

5cm- RM1.70
6cm- RM2.40
7cm- RM2.70
8cm- RM2.90
9cm- RM3.50
10cm- RM3.70

Lily's Bag o' Cookies

My niece Lily had her 3rd birthday in January. As we already had a cake loaded with yummy buttercream for her party, I was very reluctant to flood the cookies (royal icing does have quite a high sugar content), so I just outlined them.

Lily is a very active and playful 3 year old with a voice reaching towards the high Cs. Any more sugar will just get her bouncing off the walls. Put 5 kids below 8 years old together, feed them cake and what do you get? An appointment with the ear doctor for sure.

Baby Nik Aiman Hakim had his aqiqah last January. His mummy ordered these small prams to be given away as gifts to the aqiqah guests. Cost per cookie: RM3+ RM1 (for customised name).

Aqiqah Pram

Oh me oh my... I did it again, didn't I? I can't believe I let a month and a half go by without posting anything. A slap on the wrist I should get. Or a rap on the knuckles with a wooden ruler like my piano teacher used to do. Ouch!

Anyway... In January one of my BFFs had an aqiqah for her newborn. It's a large pram- 10 cm. As the handle of the pram was dangerously prone to breaking off, I placed the cookies on corrugated cardboards to support it. Cost per cookie is RM5- flooded and customised, i.e. name on the cookie.

Gingerbread garden

Wow! Has it been a whole month since my last post? I'm afraid I got caught up with the school hols, back-to-school wave and Chinese New Year celebrations (duly celebrated by yours truly as a Malaysian, of course) that I didn't manage any new posts.

Anyhoo, I made these cookies for sweet Tia who turned 4 in January. The cookies are gingerbread and outlined in pink, yellow and white. I sent the cookies to Tropicana where the birthday party was held and almost jumped out of my skin when greeted by a six-foot tall Elmo. Huh? I thought he was supposed to be only knee-high.
